I had my doubts about Casa Sofia because of lot of opposite reviews. However, our stay at the hotel was amazing. Facilities like entrance, reception, dining room are renovated and in a good shape. Rooms are comfortable and spacious enough for 2 people, bed and pillows are good for sleep, really comfy. Everything was spotless, cleaning staff is doing great job! We loved breakfast, there are plenty options for everyone (vegetables, cold cuts, cheese, eggs, different jams, Nutella, honey, waffles, 2 type of cakes, various Cereals, jogurts...) There is also coffee machine with various options, as well as tea and cocoa, and juices. Other than that, room had a small and well equipped minibar, with extremely reasonable prices. And within 500 meters from hotel, walking distance, there is Colosseo, and also lot of small restaurants, ice cream shops etc. If we decide to visit Rome again, Casa Sofia would be our choice again. P. S. Special thanks for all the receptionists who were extremely kind and helpful whenever needed (recommendations, calling taxi, Borrow scissors etc)

I had a wonderful stay at Casa Santa Sofia in Rome! Nestled in a quiet and charming neighborhood, it was the perfect retreat after a day of sightseeing. The location is excellent—just a short walk from the iconic Colosseum, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the city's top attractions. The staff at Casa Santa Sofia were exceptionally polite and welcoming, always ready to assist with any request. The room was spacious enough for our three-night stay, offering plenty of comfort for two people. It was cleaned daily, which was a nice touch and kept everything feeling fresh. Overall, I highly recommend Casa Santa Sofia for anyone looking for a peaceful, well-located place to stay in Rome with attentive service. It’s a real gem in the heart of the city!

Location, stuff were perfect, The room and the hotel were very clean. The hotel was located in a small but quite noisy square. Despite this, noise from the street was not heard, as there was excellent sound insulation, which is very rare for Rome. Тhe breakfast was quite good, which is also a rarity for Rome (unless you choose a rather expensive hotel). The bathroom had all the basic necessities, which is rare for this level hotels. In the room was a telephone that you could call for free. 24 hours reception. I was pleasantly surprised end very satisfied. I visit Rome often, but there are only a few accommodation options that I want to return to again. I will definitely try to come back here.

Superb location a short distance from the Forum and in the Monti area of Rome. A lovely hotel on little square next to the Ukrainian Greek Catholic church. The room was tastefully decorated with a mini-bar and a safe with a huge bathroom featurung a large bathtub and seperate shower. Really comfortable beds and the hotel also provided ear plugs as the square outside can be a little noisy in the summer evenings. Good buffet breakfast with both hot and cold selection. Very helpful receptionist. Definitely will stay here again on our next trip to Rome.

The room was spacious, clean and bed was comfy. Perfect for a solo traveller. The location was amazing, a less than 10 minute walk from the Colosseum. There are restaurants right infront of the hotel and it is a lively space in the evening. Close to many shops as well and the walking distance to other sites is not too bad (Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, etc - about 20 minutes). For theprice and location I would highly recommend this hotel. Hotel staff were also welcoming and friendly.
